Volunteer Oportunities

 

There are many ways for artists and other community members to become further involved in the mission of HCL.  On behalf of all the constituencies we serve, we sincerely hope that you will.  You are needed!  

We're always looking for new blood to help staff events, lend skills to existing projects or the creation of new ones, as well as to engage in strategic outreach on behalf of our blossoming organization.  Volunteering for us  is a great way to have fun, meet new people, support new works, and become intimately connected to Chicago's arts community.  You also may find terrific ways to cultivate and advance your own creative practice, while learning from and sharing with others.  

HCL can also  link you to arts-related volunteer and internship opportunities, with other projects and organizations, on a one-time or ongoing basis.   Depending upon your skill sets, interests, and availability, activities might include participation in outreach and education programs that target underserved communities, or  production assistance for an innovative new theater company -  among other possibilities.
